  1.   Choose your 3 colours of yarn.
  2.   Cut your yarn pieces. You can use a single piece of each colour for a thinner bracelet, or several pieces for a thicker bracelet. For this tutorial, we are going to cut 5 strands of each colour. For an adult bracelet, cut the pieces 10 inches (25.4 cm) long. For a child, cut the pieces 8 inches (20.32 cm) long.
  3.   Line up all the yarn pieces by colour. So, you will have 5 of colour #1, 5 of colour #2, and 5 of colour #3.
  4.   Gather them together and tie a knot on one end. You will want the knot to be about 1.5 inches (3.81 cm) from the end.
  5.   Tape the knotted end down onto your work surface.
  6.   Line up the colours of yarn. Colour A, Colour B, and Colour C. Divide the colours so there are 3 distinct sections.
  7.   Take the colour A section and cross it over colour B section.
  8. Take the colour C section and cross it over colour A section.
